Minera La Zanja S.R.L. recognizes the effort, work and sacrifice of putting the La Zanja Project into operation.
This gold project began operations in the first quarter of 2010, with an annual production of 100,000 ounces of gold and 20,000 ounces of silver.
It is located in the hamlet La Zanja (also known as La Redonda), district of Pulán, province of Santa Cruz de Succhabamba (Cajamarca), where the area of operations includes the high areas of this district, at an altitude that varies between 2,800 and 3,811 meters above sea level.
The aforementioned process will allow the exploitation of 17.3 million tons of mineral with an average production rate of 15,000 metric tons (TMD), obtaining as an annual final product approximately 100 thousand ounces of gold and 200 thousand ounces of silver.
